By casting this abjuration, the room in which the spell is cast becomes the safe haven (in a sense) of the party in which the caster is in. As soon as something or somebody that is not in the group party enters the room, the alarm goes off, notifying everybody of its presense. The trespasser can be invisible or sneaking; the alarm alerts all of any presence. The alarm also goes off if there is anybody ELSE in the room other than the group.
